When I left the house this morning, I had everything planned to glue a 1 pounds coin to the floor, I have my super glue and my coin at the ready. I went for a walk along a cycle path to find the perfect spot, I got my wildlife camera and hit it as well as possible and then, with great difficulty, I stuck the 1 pounds to the floor.
I was so proud that I was out doing this, all by myself as normally I would be too embarrassed. Anyway, i sat not too far away so that I could just about see the area the camera was in just in case someone saw it and stole it.
Everything was ready, I was just waiting patiently. Turns out the first person to find it managed to get it off the ground and steal it, but they left some quite funny footage and some great images.
Even though this person managed to get the pound, (even though I made sure it was well glued down, he definitely worked for his money! ) I didn’t realise until some time after as I was trying not to look to often as I didn’t want people to realise I was watching them. I was quite happy with some of the images I got of just people living there lives going for cycle rides and for walks, as this, in my opinion, is the last place you would imagine being watched, but it’s almost quite peaceful seeing how everyone goes about their day. I often sit on park benches and just people-watch in general.
I really enjoyed sitting and having my camera do the work for me, as I was able to do more research whilst taking photos at the same time!
I also got to meet a really cute dog which was great, whos owner gave me some very strange looks as I was setting up the camera.
