Planning my layout for Bargehouse has been a real experience as it going to my first proper exhibition outside of school or University and there is a lot more to think about than I realized.
I am currently in the middle of preparing all of the materials and sizing of my show, below is a sketch I just made to help for the planning of the space and how I would like my work to be hung.
I have to make the plinths, figure out exactly what I want it to look like, have all of the spacing planned out. I am finding this to be quite difficult as I have never been to this space before so I am struggling to know how much space I will have. Luckily Poppy and Tim have been very helpful and have helped to figure out how to hang stuff on the wall and so on. I went to an exhibition today which helped me realize that I would like for my images to be mounted onto a board to give them more definition and volume.
